LED screens will be set up in the city to show the live telecast of the inaugural ceremony at Ayodhya.

The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to launch a campaign to invite people to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya following the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva announced that party members would go door-to-door across the city to extend invitations for a visit to the newly built temple after the ceremonial opening on 22 January 2024.

After the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla (“pran pratishtha”), the temple will be opened for devotees. The Delhi BJP plans to celebrate the day as “Ram Utsav.” Sachdeva stated, “We will go door to door giving invitations from 1-15 January and will also talk to the temple committees to decorate all temples where party leaders and workers will listen to the Prime Minister’s speech from Ayodhya.”

LED screens will be set up to broadcast the inaugural ceremony live, and Delhi’s markets will be decorated for the occasion. The party is consulting with traders for the decoration.
Arrangements will be made in every ward of the national capital to facilitate visits by devotees to Ayodhya’s Ram temple after the opening, Sachdeva added.

BJP national general secretary (organisation), B.L. Santhosh has instructed party workers to decorate their houses with lamps and visit any temple with their families on the consecration day of Ayodhya’s Ram temple.

Champat Rai, the secretary of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has said that the puja for the “pran pratishtha” would commence on 16 January, and the actual “muhrat” would be around noon on 22 January, followed by a 48-day puja.
