New Delhi: The two-day NXT Conclave, held at Bharat Mandapam, brought together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss India’s transformative journey and its growing influence on the world stage. The event culminated in the launch of NewsX World, a new global news channel by the ITV Group, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The conclave began with discussions on India-Japan relations, featuring Tomohiko Taniguchi, former Foreign Policy Advisor to the late Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. This was followed by a session on mobility, where Sebastien Gendron, Founder and CEO of Transpod, explored the future of transportation and the role of cutting-edge technologies in creating sustainable solutions.
In the session on cybersecurity, Rizwan Sheikh, an ethical hacker, and Anil Kaushik, Founder and Vice Chairman of CyberCorp Limited, emphasized the need for robust digital infrastructure to address the challenges of an increasingly connected world. The discussion on democracy featured Rt. Hon. Stephen J. Harper, former Prime Minister of Canada.
The trade session focused on the potential of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), with Jason Isaacson, Chief Policy & Political Affairs Officer of AJC, and Ambassador Ron Malka, Chairman of Haifa Port Company, discussing its role in boosting economic cooperation and connectivity.
Dinkar Jain, Vice President of AI & Marketplace at Uber, and Dr. Maya Ganesh from the University of Cambridge discussed the ethical and practical implications of AI across various sectors.
The session on Bharat-Germany relations featured HE Amb. Dr. Philipp Ackermann, German Ambassador to India, who emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties in areas such as technology, trade, and sustainability.
The space session brought together experts like Oleg Artemyev, Russian Cosmonaut, and Tanveer Ahmed, Co-Founder & CTO of Digantara, who discussed India’s growing capabilities in space technology and exploration.
The conclave also included sessions on global affairs, where Keith Vaz, former MP from the UK, shared insights on the evolving geopolitical landscape, and health
The second day of the conclave saw the launch of NewsX World, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his keynote address, PM Modi highlighted India’s achievements in innovation, governance, and global leadership, emphasizing the country’s growing role as a global leader in technology, sustainability, and economic growth.
The session on media and storytelling featured Nuseir Yassin, CEO of Nas Daily, who discussed the power of storytelling in connecting cultures and shaping global narratives. The defence and technology session saw Ankit Mehta, Co-Founder of IdeaForge, and JD Patil, Advisor to CMD of Larsen & Toubro, explore advancements in defence technology.
The discussion on quantum computing featured Ajai Chowdhury, Chairman of the National Quantum Mission, and Dr. JBV Reddy, Mission Director of the National Quantum Mission, who shared insights into India’s progress in this cutting-edge field.
In the session on water and sustainability, Pete Ceglinski, CEO of Seabin, and Dr. Subramanya Kusnur, Founder of AquaKraft Group, discussed innovative solutions for environmental conservation.
The conclave also featured a session on the Indo-Pacific, with an address by Anthony J. Abbott, former Prime Minister
of Australia.
