It’s Rivalry time for two senior politicians
The rivalry between two senior leaders—one a former Chief Minister and the other currently in the role—has intensified. Both leaders firmly believe they are the most capable to lead when the opportunity arises. Each enjoys significant popularity and commands substantial influence across different sectors of society. Media platforms, both traditional and modern, are abuzz with content supporting these leaders, with each side’s team actively supplying material to bolster their preferred candidate’s image.

Loyalist does not get his reward
A Gandhi family loyalist occupying a high organisational post has been lobbying to be given the charge of his home state. He had expressed his desire to a few leaders who are deemed to be close to the Family. However, he was left out in the recent organisational changes, indicating either his wish did not reach the Gandhis or it could be that the Gandhis are focusing on a new crop of leaders.
