The destiny of life is victorious

Sacred TextsThe destiny of life is victorious

Jesus willingly suffered the greatest pain because he knew the end of His life’s story; His resurrection from the dead. The Devil thought he defeated Jesus to see Him crucified. The Devil is not all knowing, only God is, so when Jesus rose from the dead, defeating Sin, death and the Devil was defeated and humiliated. The good news for the followers of Jesus is the same our resurrection from the dead. Since we know our destiny, we are filled with Joy even when we suffer pain. Apostle John explains the end of the story that is indeed amazing.

John followed Jesus as a young disciple and remained faithful till the end. for he was the one While all other disciples fled in fear when Jesus was crucified, John was there at the feet of the cross.

He was exiled at Island of Patmos, for his faith in Christ. And so, with much excitement he writes knowing where the story ends. “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 1:1).

John speaks in amazement about this manner of love that makes us children of God. The initiative was taken by God. He wants us to behold it – that is, look at it with full devotion of heart and head. The experience of God’s glorious grace results in worship and testimony.

The people of the world who live a wayward life do not know the reality of God’s grace us due to unbelief and pride. They do not turn to God in humility and repentance.

And John further states: When “Jesus is revealed we shall be like Him. And those who have hope purify themselves” (vv,2-3). God’s great plan is for His followers is likeness to
Christ in righteousness and holiness. In the midst of life’s challenges, we rejoice at our destiny.

Let’s spread the good news.
