New Delhi: Preparations are underway to mark the first anniversary of Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha at the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and the district administration are finalizing arrangements for the three-day ceremony, which will commence on January 11.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the event by performing the Abhishek of Ram Lalla. On the first day, Ram Lalla will be adorned in a specially crafted Pitambari outfit, woven with gold and silver threads in Delhi. This attire will arrive in Ayodhya on January 10 and will be worn during the Abhishek ceremony on January 11, when devotees can have darshan.

The celebrations will run from January 11 to 13, with January 11 being the most significant day. The ceremony will begin at 10 AM with the Abhishek of Ram Lalla, which includes rituals such as anointing with Panchamrit and Saryu water. Following the Abhishek, Ram Lalla’s Maha Aarti will take place at 12:20 PM.

The Shri Ram Mandir Trust has announced that around 110 VIPs will attend the event. Additionally, a German hangar tent capable of hosting 5,000 people has been set up at Angad Tila, where the public can witness grand programs. These include cultural performances, daily rituals, and Ram Katha discourses held at the Mandap and Yagyashala.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, stated that the event offers an opportunity for the common people, who missed last year’s consecration ceremony, to participate in the celebrations. The public is welcome to attend the events at Angad Tila on all three days.

Decorations and arrangements are in full swing at the Yagya site, with the Mandap and Yagyashala serving as the primary venues. Invitations have been sent to saints and devotees from across India to join the celebrations. This rare occasion allows common devotees to actively participate in the Ram Mandir festivities.
