NEW DELHI

Volkswagen India has inaugurated a new touchpoint in Ajmer, Rajasthan as part of its strategy to expand its network to meet the surging demand for its premium and safe mobility offerings across India. With the new sales and service facility in Ajmer, the total network in the state now stands at seven sales and six service touchpoints, taking Volkswagen India’s sales and service network to 144 cities in India. This showroom will showcase the GNCAP 5-Star line-up of Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus, as well as the brand’s global bestseller Tiguan, reaffirming its commitment to deliver global mobility experiences to Indian customers.
The facility is managed by a team of 20 highly skilled professionals, ensuring an exceptional ownership experience throughout their mobility journey.

Additionally, this touchpoint features six service bays for superior customer service experiences. The new 3S facility in Ajmer has a team of 20 highly skilled professionals to enhance accessibility for customers while catering to all their mobility needs. The auto major is looking at enhancing the accessibility of the product portfolio across regions with significant strides in expanding our reach across India, achieving substantial penetration in regional markets including Tier 2 and 3 cities across the sub-continent, informs Ashish Gupta, Brand Director.

Volkswagen India has witnessed significant growth in the Rajasthan market as well as in Central India where, earlier in October this year, it inaugurated a touchpoint in Indore. According to Gupta, Madhya Pradesh has been steadily witnessing a significant demand for robust, safe, and German-engineered vehicles, resulting in a 45 per cent growth (year-to-date 2023) in the region over the corresponding period last year. The company has expanded its network strength to six sales and four service touchpoints that will further build on customer accessibility in the region.
