There have been a number of political developments in Jammu and Kashmir in the recent past as the I.N.D.I.A. bloc is also trying to give a tough fight to Union Minister and BJP leader Jitendera Singh in the Udhampur parliamentary seat.
With the announcement of parliamentary elections there has been a lot of flutter in the political circles of Jammu and Kashmir with visible realignments.
These developments have made National Conference (NC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Congress jittery and they have started blaming BJP to use its might to divide the votes in Kashmir and not allow any genuine voice to go to parliament.
Echoing these sentiments former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that BJP had made its intention clear in J&K that they will ensure defeat of the NC candidates.
Abdullah was quoted in the media as saying, “This time A, B and C teams of BJP are on the same page and are executing plans against the National Conference”.

Former minister and Dogra Swabhimaan Sangthan chairperson Choudhary Lal Singh on Wednesday rejoined the Congress and is likely to be fielded by Congress against Dr Jitendra Singh.
In Kashmir valley there have been hectic political parlays between Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Altaf Bukhari’s J&K Apni Party and the Sajjad Lone-led J&K Peoples Conference.
The people privy to the talks told The Sunday Guardian that they will make an alliance for the coming parliamentary polls in J&K UT.
Sajad Gani Lone has already announced that he will fight in the parliamentary elections from the Baramulla segment and is busy in galvanizing support at the grassroots.
Ghulam Nabi Azad in the recent past has been very active in Cheban Valley region along with Rajouri-Poonch and South Kashmir.
J&K Apni Party senior leader Rafi Ahmad Mir said that talks with like-minded parties were going on and very soon the public would be informed.
It is in place to mention that when Azad resigned from Congress and made his own regional party DPAP, most of Congress leaders and party workers joined him and some of them finally rejoined Congress. Azad is also having influence in National Conference, PDP and other political parties and in the coming days some former ministers and legislatures may join him, media reports suggested.
The I.N.D.I.A bloc has failed to come to some conclusion on seat sharing in Jammu and Kashmir so far, while National Conference has already declared that it will field candidates in all three seats of Kashmir.
Experts believed that it would be a very interesting contest in Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir for six parliamentary seats.
