Special public prosecutor (SPP) Akhand Pratap Singh represented Delhi Police and informed the court that sanctions for prosecution under Section 186 IPC and Section 13 of UAPA are pending. A supplementary chargesheet will be filed within two weeks to address this. The Additional Sessions Judge Dr. Hardeep Kaur scheduled the filing of the supplementary chargesheet for July 15. All six accused were presented before the court as their Judicial Custody ended. The court extended their judicial custody until July 15.
Delhi LG VK Saxena granted prosecution sanction under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act against the six accused in the Parliament attack on December 13, 2023. The accused are Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde, Neelam Ranolia, Lalit Jha, and Mahesh Kumawat, who are alleged to have illegally entered Parliament and thrown smoke canisters into the Lok Sabha during a live session.
