‘No Interference Please’

News‘No Interference Please’

A central leader has been asked by the party leadership to restrict his practice of direct and indirect interference and making political journeys to his former state, which he administered for a long time. This happened after the state leadership expressed their concerns over the high profile visits and state specific statements by the central leader and his close associates, which, among other things, were belittling the authority of the incumbent state leader in front of the bureaucracy. The central leader was advised to look at a neighbouring region where another high profile gentleman leader has now settled down in his new role and keeps away from interfering in the administrative decision. Incidentally, when the central leader too was a “newbie” decades ago, he too had faced the same issue of existing senior leaders and his predecessors not letting him enjoy his autonomy.
