The J&K BJP’s much reported inner squabbles has come to the floor of the state’s Assembly during the current budget session, with most BJP ministers being accused by the party’s own MLAs of being anti-Jammu.

Many BJP MLAs accused the BJP ministers of not entertaining delegations of people from Jammu who had come to raise their grievances. J&K health minister, Bali Baghat of the BJP was blamed by the BJP MLAs for not doing enough to address the poor health conditions in rural areas of Jammu. Former BJP Minster Chowdhary Sukhnadan left the PDP-BJP government red faced when he praised the erstwhile Omar Abdullah government of being more responsive to people. BJP leader and speaker Kavinder Gupta alleged that deputy CM Nirmal Singh’s escort vehicles breached his security protocol. Gupta blamed the police for taking no action against the Deputy CM.

During the budget session, many BJP MLAs highlighted the grey areas of the governance in Jammu region. BJP lawmaker from Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta attacked minister of tourism Priya Sethi of the BJP for violating his protocol.
