Popular and established Kolkata based fashion designer Sabyasachi launched his New Delhi Flagship Store in first city of Delhi, Mehrauli. Spread over two wings and 13,500 sq ft, divided by a heritage monument with a grand staircase, lies the Sabyasachi’s New Delhi flagship store.
Hand-fired Portuguese tiles, antique mirrors, an impressive collection of vintage photographs, lithographs, rich carpets and rugs layered with patina of age decorate the walls of the store. 
Turn of the century antique furniture, hand painted chandeliers with Dutch and oriental porcelain give the store its lush decadence. The Sabyasachi Art Foundation comes in with the sculptures and art inspired by Qajar paintings from Persian dynasty, Indian miniatures and calendar art.

Block printed chintz, eclectic crockery, ittar bottles collected from the bylanes of Old Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata, vintage curios and organic smells and essences of India, create a mesmerizing experience for the luxury hunting magpie. 
Sabyasachi unconventional use of fabrics, textures and detailing makes him one of the distinguished fashion designer in the industry. He is one of the renowned and celebrated designer in Bollywood and is known for his aesthetics. He has designed various costumes for Bollywood films such as Babul, Guzarish, Raavan and many more.  
His store is designed to take a stroll down the curated ‘‘love garden’’, lose yourself to the sounds of Shehnai and Hindustani classical music from Banaras Gharana, sip a cup of first flush Darjeeling to step into the world of Sabyasachi. 
The Sabyasachi Store designed by him is divided into two wings. Wing one has women’s bridal wear, jewellery by Kishandas & co for Sabyasachi, and trunks and luggage by Trunks Company, Jaipur. Wing two has ready to wear, saris and kurtas with a separate floor for menswear. Supporting the clothing collection is Sabyasachi’s now iconic accessory line and trunks and luggage by Trunks Company, Jaipur. 
Trunks Company of Jaipur presents a curated collection of luggage collectibles. It was founded by Priyank and Paritosh Mehta, and Parisian designer Livio Delegues, the Trunks Company romances with vintage spirit, ideal to embark on a journey with splendour. The travel collection is crafted in full grain leather with teakwood contouring and brass hardware and exemplifies opulence. The precious collection brings forth jewellery trunks with made to measure drawers and led illuminated interiors and custom watch sentinels. Wardrobe trunks on the other hand make the perfect pick to store your trousseau to linens. The entertainment trunks are delightful for those who seek whimsy and quirk – take your pick from bar to shortly arriving music trunks. 
Speaking about his association with The Trunk Company, Jaipur, Sabyasachi says, “At Sabyasachi store, we strive to work and collaborate with the best, and in bespoke trunk and luggage category, who be better than The Trunk Company, Jaipur!” 
An organic pret line of clothing and revival of “Chota Sabya” will soon find their way into the store.
Sabyasachi is also known for its ethnic jewellery designs. Bespoke bridal jewellery by Kishandas and co of Hyderabad is curated by Sabyasachi. The couture jewellery section brings forth the finest hand crafted precious jewels the country has ever seen.  The store hence becomes a one-stop-shop for brides and grooms and everyone else looking for Indian clothing and jewellery solutions. Kishandas and co dates back to 140 years when they started crafting jewellery for the Nawabs of Hyderabad. Since then the skill has been handed down through the generations, which is now carried forward by his sons. They together have created heirloom pieces that compliment his ensembles. They also create traditional couture and pret pieces that are reflective of cultural heritage.
Sabyasachi says, “The Sabyasachi bridal look is almost incomplete without the spectacular jewellery by the famed jewelers from Hyderabad Kishandas and co Collaborative design between us has resulted in almost an iconic revival of traditional Indian wedding jewellery.”
