KUPWARA: Two terrorists were eliminated by security forces during Operation GUGALDHAR in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday. The Indian Army confirmed the recovery of war-like stores, and the operation is ongoing. The joint operation, conducted by the Indian Army and J&K Police, was launched based on intelligence about an infiltration attempt. An exchange of fire occurred on October 4, 2024, after alert troops spotted suspicious activity. Additionally, a separate exchange of fire was reported in Kishtwar district.
