Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel presented Gujarat’s global development story before diplomats from 119 countries in New Delhi and said that after the continuous success of Gujarat Global Summit under the leadership of vibrant Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat has established itself as the “most preferred investment centre” of the country and the world.
Patel proudly said Gujarat had become the most preferred destination for investors due to proactive policies, ease of doing business, investor friendly environment, better industrial infrastructure and high standards of living.


As part of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, to be launched by the Prime Minister on 10 January, the Gujarat government organised a meeting of diplomats in New Delhi. The CM expressed his desire to expand the scope of Gujarat’s partnership with different countries of the world.
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, and diplomats from Indonesia, Japan, France, Algeria, Belarus, Argentina, Brazil, UAE, Egypt, Vietnam, Venezuela, Morocco, Oman, Finland, Hungary, Korea, Rwanda, Nauru, and Mozambique were present.


The Chief Minister said Gujarat received a cumulative FDI of US $55 bn in two decades. Due to world-class connectivity, Gujarat has accessed markets across India, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe. Highlighting the efforts of the Centre to promote investment in India under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Patel said the country has created a favourable environment for investment in the industrial sector through competition, strong policies, transparency, digitisation and innovation.


The CM expressed confidence that Hayat Future Ready Mega Projects in Gujarat would provide a ready platform for future industries.


Jaishankar said, “G20 truly embodies the concept of Gujarat Vibrant Summit of preparing India for world development and the world for India’s development. If you want to see this concept coming true, then you will get to see it in the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2024.”


The Foreign Minister said a whole range of India-specific initiatives are taking place in Gujarat.


Chief Secretary Rajkumar invited foreign diplomats to invest in various emerging sectors and said that under the direction of Chief Minister Patel, Gujarat became a policy-driven state, one with strong infrastructure, allowing faster access to industrial investors through a single window system.
