Hans, a seasoned politician with 15 years of political experience, expressed his respect for his competitors. He described Anmol as his “younger brother” and praised Sadique as a “father figure” whom he deeply admires and respects.
Reflecting on his aspirations, Hans highlighted his track record in Delhi and outlined his vision for Faridkot. Additionally, he commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his contributions to Sikh community, particularly citing the historic opening of Kartarpur corridor.
Born in Shafipur village in Jalandhar district, Hans embarked on his political journey with the Shiromani Akali Dal in 2009. Over the years, he traversed different political affiliations before joining BJP, where he secured victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Hans, a Padma Shri awardee renowned for his melodious Punjabi songs, enjoys widespread popularity for hits like ‘Dil Tote Tote Ho Gaya’, ‘Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya’, and ‘Nachi Jo Saade Naal’.
