Rahul drops Number 12 on astrologers’ advice

NewsRahul drops Number 12 on astrologers’ advice

Rahul refused to shift to 12 Tughlak Lane after reinstatement.

It seems that in future, Rahul Gandhi’s address is going to be “10 Janpath”. In the current circumstances, Sonia Gandhi is unlikely to contest the next Lok Sabha elections. If her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra agrees to replace Sonia, she can contest the elections from Rae Bareli. This is happening because Rahul is now working from “10 Janpath”.

Although after being reinstated as MP, the government immediately allotted Rahul his old bungalow at 12 Tughlak Lane, but he did not accept it. It is said that on the advice of astrologers, he distanced himself from “number 12”. It may sound strange that Rahul Gandhi believes in astrologers. But there have been reports of his mother Sonia Gandhi believing in astrologers.

If we look closely, number 12 did not suit Rahul Gandhi. While living in that bungalow, his achievements were negligible. He suffered a crushing defeat in two Lok Sabha elections. Congress was left in a limited number of states. 10 Janpath suited his mother Sonia Gandhi. The party won the Lok Sabha elections twice in 2004 and 2009. Congress ruled many states. According to this, 10 Janpath can be called an auspicious bungalow. But it is too early to say how auspicious it will be for Rahul.

It remains to be seen whether Rahul moves to a new bungalow before the Lok Sabha elections or takes any decision as per the advice of astrologers only after the next general elections. After Rahul’s bungalow number 12 got vacant, Congress had to vacate another important bungalow. This bungalow was the war room of the Congress. For more than one and a half decades, the war room of the Congress was the bungalow located at 15 Gurudwara Rakabganj Road.

In this bungalow, Congress used to make strategies to win elections. But recently Congress had to vacate this bungalow because no Congress MP demanded its allotment. This bungalow was allotted in the name of Congress Rajya Sabha member Pradeep Bhattacharya. His tenure ended on August 18. Bhattacharya had given this bungalow to the party.

Then in October this bungalow was allotted to Rajya Sabha member from Haryana, Kartikeya Sharma. The party vacated number 15 and shifted the social media work to Shaktisinh Gohil’s bungalow at 17 Gurudwara Rakabganj Road, while the rest of the work was done from Uttam Reddy’s Lodhi Estate bungalow. In 2008, Congress had established its war room at number 15, which was auspicious. Congress had won the 2009 Lok Sabha elections and formed the government
at the Centre.
