During 30 minutes meeting both the leaders discussed implementation of central scheme, development projects and Haryana Civic Body Polls.
Ahead of the municipal corporation elections in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
As per the sources the meeting lasted around 30 minutes and the discussions focused on reviewing the progress of central schemes in the state, upcoming development projects for the statw and the party’s election campaign in the state for March 2 elections.
During the discussion the chief minister briefed the prime minister regarding the implementation of various central government initiatives in Haryana during the 100 days of the Nayab Saini led BJP government in Haryana. Also the Prime Minister took the stock of the progress on state sponsored schemes and emphasized the need for timely completion of the developmental projects.
As per the sources political strategy for the municipal elections was also a significant part of the discussion as the prime minister sought an update on the preparations and election campaign in Haryana ahead of the polls. The meeting comes at a crucial juncture, with the ruling BJP aiming to strengthen its hold in the state and was working hard for a big victory in MC elections.
After the meeting, CM Saini said, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Haryana has witnessed rapid development. His guidance will further accelerate our efforts to make the state a model for progress.”
The chief minister said that the discussion also covered Haryana’s contribution to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. He emphasized the state’s commitment to working alongside the central government to achieve long-term development goals.
