CHANDIGARH: Another round of confrontation between farmers and Haryana police was likely at Shambhu border on Saturday as on the call of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha to launch their Delhi March from the Shambhu Border.
However, heavy police deployment has been made by the Haryana police to stop farmers and not allowing them to enter Haryana.
As per the available information a confrontation was likely again as the Haryana police will not allow them to cross the barricades installed by Haryana police.
Ambala Superintendent of Police Surinder Singh Bhoria along with hundreds of police personnel was himself present at the Shambhu border.
Hours before the resumption of the Delhi March Haryana government on Saturday suspended mobile internet and bulk SMS services in 12 villages in Ambala district to maintain “public peace”.
