The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has made significant changes in its organizational structure, with new appointments across various regions

These decisions were taken during the three-day Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) held in Bengaluru last week.

While major regional reshuffles were announced, no changes were made in the national team of RSS leadership.

As per the new responsibilities, Mukesh Kumar has been appointed as the new ‘Prant Pracharak’ o in Jammu and Kashmir, replacing Rupesh Kumar, who has been elevated as a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini. Kumar was previously serving as ‘Sah-Prant Pracharak’ in Jammu and Kashmir since 2018. Before that, he held positions such as ‘Zila Pracharak’ and ‘Vibhag Pracharak’ in J&K.

Rupesh Kumar was appointed as Prant Pracharak of Jammu and Kashmir in March 2018, replacing Ramesh Pappa, who was elevated to the national body at that time.

In Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Sunil has been appointed as Sah Prant Pracharak, Kashi Prant. Previously, he served as Prant Pracharak Pramukh, Gorakh ‘Prant’.

Manoj has been given the role of ‘Kshetra Sampark Pramukh’. Earlier, he was the ‘Sah Kshetra Sampark’ Pramukh. Parameshwar has been named ‘Kshetra Sah Sanyojak’, ‘Dharma Jagran’, after previously serving as Prant Sanyojak, Dharma Jagran. Suresh Trivedi has been appointed as a Kshetra Karyakarini Sadasya, transitioning from his previous role as Kshetra Sampark Pramukh.

In the central region too, multiple leadership changes have been made. Ashok Porwal, who was earlier stationed in Bhopal, has been sent to the Keshav Kunj Office Head, Delhi.

Vijay Dixit has been appointed as Sah Prant Karyavah, Madhya Bharat Prant. Surendra will now serve as Sah Prant Pracharak, Madhya Bharat. Kailash Lavanshi has been given the responsibility of Prant Sah Sharirik Shikshan Pramukh. Mohit Agarwal has been appointed as Personal Secretary to the Sar Karyavah, Mohan Bhagwat.

Ketan has been named Sah Prant Pracharak, Malwa. Shravan is now Sah Prant Pracharak, Mahakaushal region.

In Bihar and the Northern region, Praveer has been appointed as Sah Prant Pracharak, Uttar Bihar – Purnia Center. Earlier, he was the Vibhag Pracharak, Noida.

Kismat, earlier Prant Karyawah, Himachal Pradesh, is now Sah Kshetra Karyawah, Uttar Kshetra.
