The Ministry of Communications announced today an extension to the submission deadline for feedback on the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) Consultation Paper concerning the ‘Assignment of Spectrum in Evaluation and Validation (E&V) Bands, and Spectrum for Microwave Access (MWA) & Microwave Backbone (MWB).’

follows requests from industry associations for more time to craft their responses. Originally, TRAI had launched its Consultation Paper on September 27 with the feedback window closing on October 25 and counter comments due by November 8, 2023. However, the revised deadline is now set for November 15 for written comments, and November 29 for counter comments.


The Ministry encourages stakeholders to make use of the extension to thoroughly review the document and provide informed feedback.
