Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz India will also showcase an exciting product range comprising concept and production SUVs at the ‘Bharat Mobility Show 2024’ in New Delhi.
The product lineup will comprise Mercedes-Benz’s formidable SUV portfolio comprising the Concept EQG, the GLA and the AMG GLE 53 Coupe. “Bharat Mobility underlines the significance of the Indian mobility sector, which continues to be the pulse of the Indian economy. Mercedes-Benz’s showstopper will be the futuristic and highly anticipated G-Wagon in its electric avatar- the Concept EQG,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. Mercedes-Benz has an aggressive BEV roadmap for the Indian market with three new BEVs planned for 2024.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 is set to bring together the entire value chain of the automotive sector and exhibit the capabilities of Indian manufacturing in the mobility space with the industry getting ready to showcase various cutting-edge green vehicle technologies, infrastructure support systems, urban mobility solutions, connected and autonomous capabilities. Industry players view the event as a perfect platform to demonstrate the growing importance of the Indian auto sector and make a profound positive impact on the future of mobility in India and the world. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will showcase its advanced green technology product line-up and its localisation efforts centred around the theme of “Grow India – Grow with India”. The company’s pavilion will exhibit a wide range of vehicle technologies such as battery electric and the strong hybrid EV featuring the common electric powertrain parts and efforts to make these in India. The vehicles include fuel-cell EV, promising a cleaner and greener world for future generations, electrified flexi fuel vehicle that have the potential to deliver a rapid, smooth energy transition away from fossil fuel consumption.

Tne company is actively promoting ‘Make in India’, and its main products – Innova & Fortuner offer 90 per cent localization. Toyota aims to achieve net zero carbon in manufacturing operations by 2035.
