He highlighted the significant participation expected from both domestic and international stakeholders, along with the potential investments poised to flow into key sectors. Additionally, the Chief Minister sought guidance from the Union Home Minister for the successful execution of the event.

Amit Shah lauded Dr. Sarma for his dedicated efforts in making the Summit a landmark event. Expressing optimism, he stated that the mega summit would not only attract substantial investments but also elevate Assam’s stature on the global stage as India’s growth hub and a premier investment destination. During the meeting, Dr. Sarma also exchanged pleasantries with Shah and honored him with a traditional gamocha as a mark of respect.

The discussion between the two leaders lasted for over 30 minutes. The much-anticipated two-day Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 25.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister took to X to share his experience, stating, “Today in New Delhi, I had the honour of meeting Hon’ble Home Minister Amit Shah Ji to seek his guidance for AdvantageAssam 2.0.”
