Ration Card No 420, name Allah Duhai Hai

Amid state wide protests against implementation of National Food Security Act, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution( CAPD ) website has uploaded   amusing details of a  ration card holder belonging to the northern  Barmullah district. These details have gone viral after local newspapers published them here.
On the  Central Government’s PDS portal, the non-existent card holder is named Allah Duhai Hai, after a Bollywood  movie song and his  father’s name is A Karle Piyaar Ve. His house number  is 420, landmark and locality is mentioned as “mental hospital”. The other details of the family are ABA DABA and JABA with ages mention as 120,100 and 100 as sons of Allah Duhai hai.
Another member by the name of Aag aur Shola aged 12 is listed as son of Allah Duhai Hai and Shola Aur Gola aged 20 is mentioned as his daughter. When contacted senior CAPD officials in Srinagar said that they were looking for such loopholes in the system. Assistant Director CAPD Baramulla Dr Nisar Ahmad told the media that it was the work of a miscreant. He said that such details would be deleted and all such card holders would be taken to task. “This is some miscreant’s work. We are on top of  it and such information shall be deleted very soon.”
