Along with the establishment of the new idol, the seated Ram Lalla idol, which was being worshipped all these years is also being brought to the new temple.

After the completion of Vaastu Shanyi Anushthan and purification of Garbh Griha on 20 January, the rituals of Madhyadiwas, Shaiyadhiwas and Ved Parayan are scheduled for 21 January, ahead of the pran pratishtha or consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on 22 January on Monday at the newly built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Apart from the water from all the holy rivers of the country—Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Narmada, Indus, Kaveri—a total of 125 pots of water from other countries including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand will be used to bathe the idol along with the chanting of Vedic mantras. After the completion of the process, Madhyadiwas and then Shayyadhiwas will be followed. On 21 January, only Vedic Brahmins and the main host will be present in the Garbh Girah.

ARANI MANTHAN: The ocean of spirituality is rising in Ayodhya. On the fourth day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony, the Arani Manthan was recited by the Vedic Brahmins in the main yagya mandap of the temple. As soon as the mantra “Ayam Vajanjayatu Vajsatavayam Shastriyunjayatu Jarhrishanah Swaha”, was recited, Agnidev appeared in the yagya vedi and the homa started. With the lighting of the sacred fire through Arani Manthan, the rituals of the fourth day of Ram Lalla’s pran pratistha began. After offering oblations to gods like Surya, Varun, Indra etc., the divya homa started with Vedic mantras for the peace of Navagraha. The Ganges of spirituality has started flowing in the atmosphere of Ayodhya with the sounds of Swaha-Swadha and the fragrance of Samidha. The host of the consecration, Dr Anil Mishra, offered the first Samidha to Yagya Kunda.

MANDAP PUJA: In the Mandapa Puja, the Toran, Dwar, Aayuddh, Dhwaja, Dikpal and Dwarpal of the temple were worshipped. At the same time, five Vedic Acharyas have also started reciting the four Vedas as part of the rituals.

VEDA RECITATION AND DIVINE ENLIGHTENMENT: Before this, established deities like Ganapati etc. were worshipped. Veda recitation, Dev Prabodhaan, Aushadhivas, Kesaradhivas, Ghritadhivas, Kundpujan and Panchbhu Sanskar were done. Along with that Grahasthapana, Rudrapeethasthapan, Pradhandevatashapana, Rajaram-Bhadra-ShriRamayantra-Beethdevata-Angadevata-Avaranadevata-Mahapuja etc were followed.

RAM LALLA VIRAJMAN: Along with the establishment of the immovable idol in the newly constructed temple, the seated Ram Lalla idol, which was being worshipped all these years is also being installed in the new temple. The new 51-inch immovable idol of Ram Lalla is to be consecrated on a golden throne in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. The earlier Ram Lalla idol will be installed right in front of the throne.

LADDU PRASAD FROM MAHAKAL: On Friday, a group of saints from Ujjain reached Ayodhya to participate in the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav. Before leaving for Ayodhya, the saints worshipped Baba Mahakal and took his blessings.

PM MODI’S SCHEDULE: In view of the possibility of cold, fog and mist, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may reach Ayodhya a day earlier. Before the arrival of the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya and observed the rituals. He visited Hanumangarhi and then attended the court of Ram Lalla. During this, CM Yogi also visited the Ram Temple complex and oversaw the preparations.

SECURITY TIGHTENED: Security agencies are engaged in sanitizing not only Ayodhya but also around 100 kilometers surrounding the temple town. The district administration has set up a control room in the collectorate premises. Along with tightening the security in the temple complex, equally strict surveillance is being maintained on the banks of Saryu river for several kilometers. Robots, underwater attack and interception commandos and snipers have been deployed. Similarly, the sky of Ayodhya has been made impenetrable. Ayodhya has been made impenetrable from all three sides—land, water and air.

People living in the villages and localities on both sides of the railway track passing through all the zones and subordinate districts of the Commissionerate have been asked to be verified, to keep a strict vigil on anti-social elements. Apart from this, Black Cat commandos of UP ATS have already reached Ayodhya.
