He proposed that Uttar Pradesh be allocated 250 additional ITIs under the Government of India’s 1000 ITI Upgradation Scheme. In response, Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary acknowledged the proposal and assured that it would be given serious consideration.
Furthermore, a request was put forward to set a training target of 1 lakh youth under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) for the Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Mission. The Union Minister responded favorably, emphasizing that such an initiative would create new employment opportunities for the youth of the state. Dr. Hariom underscored that the Uttar Pradesh government has already trained more than 1 lakh artisans under the Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana. He emphasized that these numbers could see a rapid rise if the training targets were directly allocated to the Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Mission.
