The PM addressed the emotional concerns of the Madiga community.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Madigala Vishwaroop Sabha, reaffirmed his commitment to social justice and inclusion, declaring members of the Madiga community as part of his family. In a poignant moment, Modi addressed the emotional concerns of the community, emphasizing the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) dedication to eradicating poverty and championing social justice.

Prime Minister Modi underscored the BJP’s historical stance of standing by the downtrodden sections of society. He pointed to the appointment of Ram Nath Kovind, a Dalit, as the President, as a testament to the party’s commitment to inclusivity. However, Modi did not shy away from critiquing the Opposition, labelling the Congress as obstructive to the cause.
Taking a firm stance, Modi cautioned the public against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress, alleging them as anti-Dalit. He urged vigilance when dealing with these parties, citing instances where their actions contradicted their purported commitment to the welfare of marginalized communities.

Prominent Madiga community leader Mandakrishna Madiga praised Modi as his ‘elder brother’ and lauded his leadership from humble beginnings. He commended Modi’s support for the Dalit community, citing the appointment of Dalits to key positions. However, Madiga appealed to Modi to address the pressing demand for Scheduled Caste (SC) classification, crucial for realizing the benefits of reservation and welfare schemes.

The Vishwarupa Mahasabha witnessed an emotional moment between Mandakrishna Madiga and Prime Minister Modi. Tears were shed as the two leaders shared a poignant exchange, adding a personal touch to the political event and symbolizing a strong bond between them.

As Telangana gears up for assembly elections, political activities are in full swing. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), BJP, and Congress are actively engaging in public meetings and roadshows. Prime Minister Modi is set to return later this month for an extensive election campaign, culminating in a massive roadshow in Hyderabad on the 27th. Sources suggest a major announcement regarding SC classification during these events, adding an extra layer of anticipation to the political landscape. The Madigala Vishwaroop Sabha stands as a pivotal platform where promises for social justice and community empowerment take centrestage.
