Recently first edition of Jammu Trade Fair 2024 was held at the Auditorium Ground, University of Jammu.

Central government and J&K administration together are trying to change the face of the Jammu region by promoting tourism and trade here.
Recently Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Atal Dulloo reviewed all the schemes and measures being taken in and around Jammu for large scale development and promotion of tourism and culture.

Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Yasha Mudgal told media that they will rope in different tourism promotion players across the country and will take them on FAM tours to different spots so that footfall of tourists increases in Jammu region.
Recently first edition of Jammu Trade Fair 2024 was held at the Auditorium Ground, University of Jammu.

The trade fair is being organized up to February 4, 2024 to highlight the opportunities for growth and development in the Jammu region.
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar while inaugurating the Jammu Trade Fair said that Jammu has a lot of opportunities in every sector including tourism.
Jammu Trade Fair is the first of its kind and is getting a lot of response from the big players especially in the tourism sector.

The Jammu region is already getting a lot of attention from the central government for the promotion of new tourist destinations and home stays in many hilly areas of the region.
The Chief Secretary on Thursday while reviewing the Jammu tourism potential asked the officers to promote Gharana Wetland. He said that the officers of tourism should reach out to the bird watching associations across the country and improve amenities and facilities in and around Gharana Wetland.

Ranjit Sagar Dam is in the focus of the tourism department to be promoted as a new tourism destination. Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo asked the J&K tourism department to initiate multiple water sports and adventure activities in this dam. Similarly Jammu tourism officials are trying to portray Mantalai as a spiritual hub of yoga.
Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Yasha Mudgal said that they will create world class infrastructure and facilities for the yoga loving tourists for Mantalai circuit.
With the help of the central government the focus is on pilgrim tourism for the Jammu region.

Government has already decided to develop the sites of Ambharan, Kameshwar Temple, Purmandal, Uttar Behni and Shiv Khori religious sites for the pilgrim tourists.
Jammu region by its first trade fair and focus on the promotion of tourism is getting a lot of attention not only from the administration but from the big investors for trade and tourism.
