The Millennial Awards, presented by the ITV Network in collaboration with Business World, are shaping the future generations of India through talents in science, literature, traditional arts, and sports, ensuring a bright future, according to Union Minister S.P. Singh Bhaghel.
He commended Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma for providing a platform to young talents, expressing confidence in their potential to receive national awards at Rashtrapati Bhawan, given the Narendra Modi government’s transformative approach.
Unlike previous administrations, awards are now granted based on merit and contributions to society.
Addressing the Millennial Change Makers Award by NewsX, Kartikeya Sharma emphasized the importance of learning from life experiences for personal growth.
Dr Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor in Chief of Business World praised the talented millennials and said parents have a big role to play in the destiny of children other than hard work and talent. The last 28 years have shown that the age of achievement is getting younger, he said. Young people’s notion of giving back starts, and it’s not about achieving something and then giving back, but achieving is giving back.
Speaking about the mantra of success, Batra said that one must stay away from the 3Cs, which are to complain, criticise, and compare. He added that when you achieve praise, 3Hs, i.e., hard work, hope, and humility, these things help you gain momentum in life and help you set higher goals in life.
