Chief Justice Ravi Malimath of the Madhya Pradesh High Court has inaugurated an integrated video surveillance mechanism and live audiovisual streaming system for district and tehsil courts across the state. The High Court has launched the Integrated Video Surveillance System (IVSS) and Courtroom Live Audio-Visual Streaming System (CLASS). The initiative aims to facilitate live streaming of courtrooms at 210 complexes under the jurisdiction of Madhya Pradesh’s High Court, the press release added.

The release emphasized that this project is groundbreaking in both its scope and purpose, aligning with the principles of transparency and accountability. It praised the Madhya Pradesh High Court for demonstrating responsible leadership and setting an example for other courts across the country to emulate.

The adoption and integration of these new technologies are positioned to equip the Madhya Pradesh judiciary for the digital era.The press release underlined the significance of ensuring the safety of all parties involved in the journey of justice within the court campus, including judges, lawyers, employees, and protection agencies such as the police, as well as the general public.
