God who shows Love

Sacred TextsGod who shows Love

Melanie rests in the fact that God has spoken a single message that He loves, and all of His actions result from His holy love. God’s plan of creation is an act of love. Isn’t it amazingly empowering to know that the God who is awesome in power loves me as His own?

To say God is love means God is a relational being. He is the origin and source of love.

We believe in one God in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God creates us for a relationship with one another and with Him. Have you taken time to consider that the God who creates in love has spoken to human beings to reveal His character, His ways, and His plan?

Yet the God who loves delivers us from the wayward path we choose and believe a lie that there is someone who loves us more than our creator. Choosing the path of envy and breaking the heart of a loving God causes pain to God, yet God comes seeking the wayward to redeem them.

Jesus supremely revealed God’s love on the cross, wherein He became a sacrifice for us, and God forgives us when we turn to Him in repentance. However, we should not forget, not to walk on the ways of God; we walk on the road to destruction and bring God’s judgement upon ourselves. Sadhu Sundar Singh was right when he said, God does not send any one to hell, people choose to go to hell.

For those who have trusted Christ, must speak clearly the message of God’s love and forgiveness. We are God’s ambassadors to spread and live the message of love. The message of reconciliation with God through Christ has been entrusted to us and this is the mission we have been given (2 Cor. 5:18-20). Our world needs to see people who love and care just as Jesus did and work for the common good for all of God’s creation.
